Enlisted into the Georgia Army National Guard on 6 June 2006 as an Infantryman.  Graduated Infantry School Ft. Benning, Georgia October 2006.  Deployed to Afghanastan with B Company 1/121st Infantry from May 2009 – April 2010.  Completed ROTC program North Georgia College 2012. Awards and badges include Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Air Assault badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, NATO Medal, Expert Marksmanship Badge. Completed degree at Macon State College (chemistry). Currently a PharmD student at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and infantry squad leader at A Company 2/121st INF in Griffin GA. Married to Ashley Freeman of Lizella, GA.
